Beating the January Blues with Tchi Drinks at The Merrion hotel

It’s that time of year again, with the dreaded “D” word (‘detox’) on the tip of everyone’s tongues! There is good news if you’re embracing the annual New Year health-kick, as The Merrion hotel makes a nourishing addition to their already-extensive tea menu with the introduction of Tchi Drinks.

Tea Master Laura Mc Ginn, who is one of The Merrion’s most coveted culinary talents, is responsible for selecting the teas inspired by the Chinese philosophy of ch’i as a Merrion January edition.

To restore and maintain levels of ch’i in the body, the Tchi Drinks are created through a combination of berries, roots and plant, and are available in three heavenly flavours – Rose and Honey Tea, Date Longan and Goji Tea, Jasmine Tea.

For many of us, an over-indulgent festive season leaves us feeling a little drained come January but Tchi Drinks are designed to naturally counteract these effects. Acting as a nutritious escape, the Tchi Drinks are wellness teas that have a positive effect on the human nervous system relieving elements of depression, insomnia and fatigue.
